Matt Anfang joined the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors as Interim Executive Director in January of 2013.

Prior to joining MNCAR, Matt served as President of Greater Saint Paul BOMA since early 2008 representing commercial real estate owners and managers in Saint Paul and the East Metro Area.

In 1999 Matt joined the staff of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, working in business community advocacy in the role of Manager of Public Policy.

In 2002 Matt entered the commercial and residential real estate industry as Project Manager for Centex Development Company out of Dallas, TX, managing the redevelopment of Saint Paul’s Upper Landing, in addition to this project he worked on the acquisition and entitlement for several other mixed use developments throughout the Twin Cities.  Matt also served in Public Affairs and Public Policy for the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to his professional experience, Matt has been very involved in civic and community affairs, a one time candidate for public office, Saint Paul Planning Commissioner, and current President of the Board of Directors of the Saint Paul Regional Water Services. Matt is also engaged as a School Advisory Board Member at the Nativity of Our Lord School and Church in Saint Paul, and sits on the Board of Directors of YMCA Camp Widjiwagan based out of Ely, MN.

Matt lives in Saint Paul with his wife and three daughters.
