Patrick T. Harrigan is the President/COO of Gain 1031 Exchange Company, LLC which acts as a Qualified Intermediary for 1031 exchanges. 1031 exchanges are also known as like kind exchanges or tax deferred exchanges. He has focused his career on exchanges for over 12 years and has over 15 years experience with commercial and investment real estate transactions.

He is an exchange expert and has achieved the Certified Exchange Specialist designation in 2010 reflecting the highest standard in exchange knowledge and professionalism. He earned a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and his law degree from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has written and lectured extensively on exchanges for real estate agent, attorney and investor groups. He is a member of the State Bar of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Patrick is member of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and a Certified Exchange Specialist.
