Set Up a Support Account
What is a support account?
A support account is a special type of account allowing someone to use the site on someone’s behalf. Support account holders can access the My Account area, send Broadcast Email, manage CE Credits, and much more as though they were the person they are supporting.
How can it help me?
If you prefer to delegate activities that involve MNCAR.org, such as sending Broadcast Emails, you can invite someone to support you on the site and do these things on your behalf.
Where do I find it?
- Log on to MNCAR.org and click My Account in the link menu
- Click the yellow Send Support Invitation button on the left side of the page
- Enter the email address of the support person and click the Send Request button
How do I use it?
When you click the Send Invitation button, an invitation is sent to the email account specified. When the support person clicks the link provided, they are directed through a brief activation process.
Once completed, they will be able to login to the site and use it on behalf of the person that invited them. If they have been invited by multiple people, their names appear in the My Agents menu in the upper right corner of the site. They can choose a new name in order to support another person.
