Bob began his professional career as a bikeway planning consultant and wrote the original Bike Trail Development Guide for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.  This work became  instrumental in the creation of an intricate bikeway system in the state and major metropolitan areas.  His expertice in this arena was gained through a bicycling journey that took him fro Minneapolis to Columbus, Ohio to lansing, Michigan to Detroit, to Buffalo, New York to Toronto, Canada.  From there he flew to Amsterdam where he studied a well designed Dutch bikeway system and visited at great length with the director of bikeway Planning for the Netherlands.  From there, he biked along the Rhine River to Frankfort, Germany and accumulated a wealth of knowledge to bring back to the State of Minnesota.

Upon completion of this effort, Bob launched into a doctoral program at Michigan State University in Urban Planning-Economics-Quantitative Analysis.  While pursuing his doctoral degree, bob served as a planning Instructor and Assistant Men's Gymnastic Coach at Michigan State University.

He returned to Minnesota to become the Director of  Planning for Van Doren-Hazard-Stallings (VHS), an architecture, engineering & planning consulting firm that specialized in highway and bridge design.  His responsibility was to prepare environmental assessments and historic (4f) assessments associated with these projects. 

After a two year stint at VHS, he set up his own consulting firm as a Planning Consulting and worked with suburban communities to prepare Comprehensive plans, Growth management Plans, zoning ordinances and subdivision regulations.  

His business transitioned into consulting with private developers to create successful projects and ultimately earned his real estate License in 2002. He now focuses his attention on working with real estate investors to create strategic real estate solutions.

  5. Negotiation knowledge. There are many factors up for discussion in a deal. A REALTOR® will look at every angle from your perspective, including crafting a purchase agreement that allows enough time for you to complete inspections and investigations of the property before you are bound to complete the purchase.
  6. Up-to-date experience. Most people buy only a few homes in their lifetime, usually with quite a few years in between each purchase. Even if you’ve done it before, laws and regulations change. REALTORS® handle hundreds of transactions over the course of their career.
  7. Your rock during emotional moments. A home is so much more than four walls and a roof. And for most people, property represents the biggest purchase they’ll ever make. Having a concerned, but objective, third party helps you stay focused on the issues most important to you.
