With more than a decade of commercial real estate experience, Ted is skilled with financial and investment analysis, strategic advisory, and property marketing. He has a deep understanding of the Twin Cities Metro and Suburban markets, having successfully negotiated hundreds of lease and sale transactions.

Prior to joining Grand Real Estate Advisors, Ted was the owner-operator of EJL Commercial Real Estate, a small brokerage and consulting firm. Additionally, Ted actively managed a portfolio of 25 NNN leased retail properties located throughout the Unites States on behalf of a charitable trust.

Ted is a graduate of Saint Thomas Academy and Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He lives in Saint Paul with his wife, Allison LaFave and their 3 children, Sophie, Ed, and Wally.
