TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Mike co-founded Equity Commercial Services, the predecessor to Transwestern in the Twin Cities, in 1996 and has been a partner since its inception. He focuses on new business development as well as the marketing of third-party brokerage accounts. Mike also provides tenant advisory services on a local and national level. A top producer, Mike brings over 22 years of experience in the Twin Cities marketplace. Mike played an integral part in bringing Transwestern to the Twin Cities marketplace and building it into one of the premier commercial real estate firms.

Mike has spent his entire real estate career in the Twin Cities marketplace. A business and community leader, Mike is viewed as one of the top office brokers in the area. During his career, Mike has been recognized as a top producer by a variety of organizations including the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors, who honored Mike as its “Broker of the Year” in 2006.

In addition to his lengthy work experience, Mike has volunteered a great deal of his time to the real estate industry and beyond. He is a past president of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors and has spent countless hours volunteering his time to this organization. Outside of work, Mike co-founded and is chairman of the Golf Classic “fore” Diabetes Research, which has raised nearly $4 million dollars for research at the Diabetes Institute at the University of Minnesota.

A REALTOR® will look at every angle from your perspective, including crafting a purchase agreement that allows enough time for you to complete inspections and investigations of the property before you are bound to complete the purchase.
  6. Up-to-date experience. Most people buy only a few homes in their lifetime, usually with quite a few years in between each purchase. Even if you’ve done it before, laws and regulations change. REALTORS® handle hundreds of transactions over the course of their career.
