1. In one sentence, what do you want MNCAR members to know about your business?
I’ve specialized in retail throughout my career, and my team’s primary focus is the sale of retail investment properties, recently with a strong emphasis on unanchored retail strip centers due to the significant demand for the product type.
2. Something that took you a long time to learn in the CRE industry?
It’s okay to say, “I don’t know the answer, but I’ll find out and get back to you”. Early in my career, I felt like I needed to know everything about everything, but I’ve learned that people appreciate honest and humility and follow through far more.
3. What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
Visiting my daughter this fall while she studies abroad in Vienna, Austria.
4. What are you currently binge-watching?
I’ve finished nearly every streaming service, but some recent favorites are Shrinking, Your Friends & Neighbors, Rooster and The Pitt.
5. What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve received related to CRE?
Always be learning. Surround yourself with coaches, mentors, and people you can learn from so you can continue honing your craft and improving yourself.
6. What do you enjoy most about the CRE industry?
It is a small CRE world filled with incredible people, and we’re lucky to have events that allow us to spend time together and network but professionally and personally.
