Douglas Fulton leads a occupier advisory and tenant representation team at Avison Young, focusing primarily on serving corporate occupiers of office and industrial space. With 25 years of experience in commercial real estate and over $3b in transactional value, Mr. Fulton can offer his clients the benefit of his extraordinary market knowledge and experience. While the Minneapolis/St. Paul market is certainly Mr. Fulton’s area of specialty, his real estate knowledge and the clients he serves extend far beyond the Twin Cities marketplace. Mr. Fulton has extensive real estate and sales experience. He is known throughout both the commercial real estate and business communities as a strategic thinker and tireless negotiator. He utilizes these talents on behalf of a prestigious list of clientele, which includes Calabrio, Cambria USA, Polaris Industries, TCF National Bank, Magenic Technologies, and more. Mr. Fulton’s longstanding success in representing occupier clients is the direct result of his integrity, enthusiasm, and dedication to his clients.

Mr. Fulton joined Avison Young in 2015 as a Principal in the Minnesota office.  Prior to AY, he joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2007 through the firm’s acquisition of Northstar Partners, where he had formerly served as partner and senior vice president since 2002. Prior to joining Northstar Partners, Mr. Fulton held the position of Senior Vice President, Corporate Advisory Services for Grubb & Ellis, where he led a corporate advisory team on behalf of Minnesota clients. He is a former board member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Minnesota Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Fulton earned a B.A. degree in Government from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He is a Governor for Opportunity International, an international mico lending charity.  He serves as Chair for the Dartmouth Club of Minnesota Scholarship Fund and leads the Boy Scout Troop at Our Lady of Grace Church in Edina, MN.
