As Senior Vice President, Sherry Hastings brings a wealth of experience and talent to Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. She is directly responsible for leasing a portfolio of 500,255 rentable square feet in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Sherry oversees all areas of commercial real estate, including comprehensive strategic planning, property and asset management, leasing and negotiations, financial analysis, project management, construction management and budget compliance. She provides marketing and repositioning strategies, property assessments, tenant experience and retention, and customer service. In addition, Sherry provides tenant representation and commercial real estate consulting services. Sherry previously worked at Frauenshuh, for over a decade and a half, where she oversaw the operations of the leasing division. She was responsible for over 1.8 million square feet. Her responsibilities included the leasing and marketing of all properties under management contract in the Twin Cities metropolitan and out state areas. In addition, she was responsible for corporate services, tenant representation, consulting, acquisitions and dispositions. Sherry worked on projects across multiple property types which included office, medical, retail, industrial, land and special use properties. Sherry began her career working in an executive capacity for an assortment of notable organizations in both the public and private sectors with many years of professional experience. Her experiences ranged from helping start the first Internet company in Minnesota to running several national and international businesses. Sherry is renowned in the industry for her thorough understanding of the commercial real estate market combined with her hard work, dedication, honesty and the ability to facilitate a successful transaction, and has fostered many long-term relationships in the business and real estate community. Sherry specializes in prioritizing and promoting human health, wellness, sustainable and healthy built environments. In addition, Sherry is dedicated to the environmental, agricultural, food justice issues especially affecting women and children and economically challenged communities. She is involved in influencing public policy and social change.
