Louis Suarez joined Colliers International in 2003 and is a member of the Colliers Healthcare Services Group, specializing in development, and in sale and leasing services for the medical and office industries. Louis is a highly respected industry expert in the healthcare real estate field, recently completing projects with HealthEast Care Systems, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, and the U.S. Veterans Administration.

Louis has taken a very active role in the Colliers Healthcare Services Group, both as the Midwest Regional Director and as a member of the National Steering Committee. Louis has a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of St. Thomas in business development. He has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to continued professional development and recently was awarded his CCIM designation. His knowledge of the market is highly regarded within the industry. Because of this, he has been asked to present at numerous medical conferences, and has been the keynote speaker at the NAIOP’s Office Market Update for the St. Paul and East Metro submarkets.

Louis has also been very involved with the local community. From trips overseas to assist in rebuilding in Haiti, to serving dinner to troops in Kuwait, he has made a difference in the world around him. He has been very active with the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce as well as in Big Brothers Big Sisters. Louis’ community service and personal achievements were recognized recently when he was selected as one of Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty of 2012.
