Lisa Christianson is the President and Owner of Christianson & Company Commercial Real Estate Services.  A serial entrepreneur, she started her first company, an event planning and children’s entertainment company, in high school.  She went on to found The Retail Marketing Group in 1991, a company focused on marketing shopping malls and neighborhood strip centers. She grew the company and sold it in 1996. From there she worked as an investment broker at Griffin Companies, a Minneapolis-based commercial real estate firm. In 2001 Lisa founded Christianson & Company.

In 2019, Lisa was awarded Broker of the Year by the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR). She has been active in several small business ventures as the owner and marketing specialist. She has managed investment properties, including her own portfolio, since 1993 providing accounting, leasing, management, acquisition and disposition services. The experience gained and the relationships she has developed over the past 25+ years have proven to be great assets in ensuring smooth transactions for her clients.

Lisa quarterbacks Christianson & Company’s listings, emphasizing superior communication with property owners and maximizing marketing exposure for their properties. She works with a great team to identify acquisition opportunities for investors and advises on strategies for deferring taxes. Lisa is also passionate about tenant representation as it is the perfect opportunity to work with other business owners to lease or buy space. She excels at helping clients make sure that their commercial real estate aligns with their brand, employees, clients, strategic plan, budget, investment objectives and goals.

Lisa is a licensed real estate broker in both Minnesota and Florida. In 2015, she expanded by co-founding Christianson & Company’s sister company, The Greystone Christianson Group based in Naples, FL.  Lisa is a member and past President of MNCAR and the MNCAR Exchange.  She is active in the Minnesota Shopping Center Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). Lisa also serves on the Commercial Committee for the National Association of Realtors. In 2013 the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal named her one of the 51 most influential Women in Business.

Giving back is a core value for Lisa.  She is a strong supporter and past Chairman of the Board for Connections to Independence, an organization that provides support to youth in foster care. She served as a Guardian ad Litem in Hennepin County and is devoted to helping others both personally and professionally. Lisa is a proud mom of two amazing adult children. She enjoys adventures with her husband, family and friends.
